Rootwise
Rootwise™ Media  ·  Est. 2026

Everything your ten-minute appointment didn't have time to explain.

Rootwise Media publishes plain-language, clinician-written guides on the foot and ankle conditions that don't get enough airtime — from the everyday to the complex. Written by a practicing podiatrist, for patients and the people who care for them.

Mission

Most patient education stops at a pamphlet. Ours doesn't. Every Rootwise Media guide is written by Dr. Elise Matichak, DPM, drawing on real clinical practice and current research to explain not just what a condition is, but why it happens, what the treatment options actually involve, and when something is worth a closer look.

We built this library because people living with chronic and complex conditions are so often left piecing together answers from forums, outdated pamphlets, and rushed appointments. That's a design failure, not a personal one.

Rootwise Media is one piece of a larger platform: Rootwise App helps you prepare for and remember what happens in the room, and Rootwise Market connects you to the products that help. Rootwise Media makes sure you understand what's happening in between.
